"Grundig Television, 1960s"

This lightbox was inspired by an old Swedish advertising poster from the 1960s that I stumbled across. After much manipulation the colours now complement the warms of the woods and recreate the cosy glow of a Television. Its tongue-in-cheek nostalgia, which has become synonymous with Lilly’s Lightboxes, this Grundig Television lightbox celebrates Swedish style of the 60s and the excitement of discovering something as new as Television together back in the day when homes revolved around this single luxury.
